Thailand is a very attractive place for living. You can enjoy anything from white sand beaches to stunning mountains and vibrant cosmopolitan cities. Exotic Thailand is Asia’s top destination for living and with a good Internet and wi-fi network all over Thailand, making it a magnet for digital nomads. Also, the cost of living is amazingly low. For the same amount as two monthly payments of my former rent in Europe, I can rent a house or apartment in Thailand for a year! Digital Nomads with some extra cash to invest, can buy a one storey bungalow for as low as $45,000 or a nice Villa with starting prices from $80,000. (check Thailand Home Guide for more information and prices). Living in Thailand is a rewarding experience. Thailand is an ideal country for Digital Nomads looking for a cheaper, more relaxed lifestyle with good weather and friendly locals. Due to its popularity as a tourist destination, Thailand is one of the cheapest places to fly to in Asia, with direct flights readily available to Bangkok from many international airports. Thailand is also an excellent base to start exploring other Asian countries in the nearby region. Reasons why Thailand is an good choice for Digital Nomads: * Internet network all over Thailand with high-speed Internet and wi-fi hotspots in the major cities * Various communication networks (gsm, gprs, edge, 3G) * The length of stay permitted as a tourist is two months, with a maximum of six months a year * Non-immigrant visa's can be granted for one year at the time * Very affordable accommodation * World-class cuisine * Efficient health care system * Beautiful mountains, dense forests, and stunning beaches * A tropical climate with warm weather all year round * One of the cheapest places to fly to in Asia * Excellent infrastructure * World-class facilities in many resort towns |
